Amanda Baggs' Mother Lies for Her

Anonymous said...

Have you seen this one from Maine? Kate? Another winner claiming autism yet writing books. I wonder if she rips off the system just like Amanda. Where's the oversight?

"""""Video of Baggs mother. Mrs. Baggs says at 14 years old Amanda was diagnosed autistic. Among the autism diagnosis, she also received the Schizophrenia diagnosis, the Multiple Personality diagnosis, attended Simon's Rock College from 14-15 years old, was a normal verbal speaker, had friends and a boyfriend, took german language, was active in class discussions. Mrs. Baggs should be clear to the public of these things. Otherwise the public believes Amanda was as she is now (non verbal, stimming, in need of care for daily activities) back then. There were two college friends, who are now doctors, who have contacted CNN to testify. Dr. Daniel Drucker at the University of Pennsylvania and Dr. Ophelia Austin-Small Ph.D psychologist. They each state Amanda was not autistic at 14 years old.""""
""""Dr. Austin-Small states Amanda's mother is severely mentally ill, doctor shopped for Amanda for years, refused to accept the Schizophrenia diagnosis despite Amanda reporting hallucinations, listening device in the ground, alter personalities, being an elf"""

"Mrs. Baggs says at 14 years old Amanda was diagnosed autistic."

Someone forgot to tell Baggs in 1997, because she wrote on a message board the following:

Many children (mostly autistic) at my school use those picture card
things. Everything in the room is labeled with them, and they have
schedule boards with velcro on them to attach the pictures. When they
want to do something, they point to the picture (often with a lot of
coaxing). My school's pretty neat actually. It's special-ed for ages
7?-22. There are maybe forty students, of all kinds of problems (I'm in
the high-functioning class, recovering from schizophrenia). I get to
work with one of the autistic girls once a week, and I really enjoy it.
I want to do things like that professionally, eventually. Once I get out
of this school and back to college...

So, if Ms. Baggs mother is claiming she was diagnosed with autism at the age of 14 while attending or shortly after attending Simon's Rock, it seems she didn't bother telling her daughter, even though she was being treated in a special school for schizophrenia.

Mommy Baggs looks like a flaming nut. Hey Anna, your daughter is a fraud and ripping off the system. Just a couple of scumbag crazies who desperately want some sort of attention.

Anna Baggs,

by promoting your daughter's hoax not only are you treating the life of others, somebody elses child, as if they are merely your daughter's personal playthings,

you also contribute to enabling the continuation of the following treatment to those who are actually cognitively disabled and unable to speak (you know, those real people out there with real disabilities, Autism).

So you clearly could give a shit less about anybody elses child other your own precious "Mandy"

Clearly to you, no matter the cost to others, "whatever Mandy wants is what Mandy gets"

Maybe you'll give a shit if you realize this particular video is somebody elses mother?

it (and much worse) is also the fate too many Autistics face (one is too many, and exactly the fate that all of who seek to feign and cover up the truly Autistic, without fear of ever experiencing or having to give a damn, its exactly the fate you and your daughter and supports are relegating for others, the disabled, vulnerable, the Autistic)

No, still don't really give a shit?

Thought not, you cold-hearted disturbed sociopathic piece of work

but thanks for at least demonstrating in the worst way all too well and removing all doubt that indeed its true that 'the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree"

Honestly, if ever there was anyone on the planet who might actually deserve such treatment,
it'd have to be anyone who trivializes and makes a self-serving game of it all and that, "dear" you need to wake to face the reality is you, your kid and everyone else who's participating in her/your horrific hoax.

God help you, Mrs Anna Baggs,

May you one day truly reap precisely what you've sown.

Apparently all is still not well in Amanda-Land

below is a recent post from her, made on WrongPlanet during a thread entitled

"Mild, moderate, severe autism"

Posted: Sun Sep 19, 2010 8:23 pm

"Stop chopping me into pieces to make me fit your theories. The person you are fitting into a slot -- any of these slots -- is not me. It's someone you imagined and put in my place. That's a form of violation. Please stop. You don't know me well enough to do this to me. You don't know the other people you do it to well enough to do it to them. If I could tell you what's wrong with your ideas, I would, but I can't (so I have no means to defend myself except to say you're completely wrong). But there is something major wrong with them, and your ideas say more about you than they do about autistic people as a whole."

Once again, disagree, challenge, question, think any thoughts which Amanda didn't directly steer you to think, (and heaven forbid you should question or disbelieve Amanda herself!)

and you're wrong, simply all wrong

and the reason you're all wrong?

Because you just don't understand Autism or know what Autism is

only Amanda, the self-appointed expert on Autism, is capable of such knowledge, and its her job and thank goodness she's here to explain it all to the rest of the world

to be fair, some days you're also wrong because the great Disabled Dr King Activist of our time, Amanda Baggs has an all important message to enlighten the world one which must be heard and only she can deliver (as a severely autistic person, of course)

The world is dependent on Amanda to complete this monumentally important task.

and you're a big mean evil bully, sometimes a stalker, who works to silence and oppress the good light of Amanda and keep her from educating the world on Autism and spreading her all so important message

(even though this particular aspect of things didn't quite make it to this particular post on this particular day, its also all important and must be understood and included, for further understanding)

Everybody got it now?

Gosh I can sure see why Anna Baggs is so glad it was just a mistake and that Amanda's really not a paranoid schizophrenic after all. I'm really glad too (aren't you?)!

Yikes! That's one angry woman. Disregard her gentle tone and watch her facial expressions, particularly her eyes and mouth.
One wonders why, if her daughter does indeed have autism, she felt the need to post a video about it. My eldest son is nearsighted and my daughter is left handed and I've never gone on YouTube with that information.Of course, my kids aren't trying to become spokespeople for the nearsighted, left-handed communities.
