Mercury Caused the Autism Epidemic, Please Pass It On

This is a copy of an Email I received today. Please forward it to anyone who may not know the facts.

There is great poltical activity ongoing. It is a crusade to educate the elite of this country and newspapers and editorial staffs one step at a time. But you won't see it. You may hear it. You may hear of it. It is like the footsteps you hear, like the pawprints you see. But it is invisible like the termites that gnaw at your foundation, unknown to all until it is too late. It is like Sakajewia passing through the forest. But the packages left for all to see present a devastating picture of the truth.

The enclosed information in this e-mail is presented as a public service to your organization and to the millions and millions of children you reach each year. Please review. It may help you understand some of these issues in this ongoing battle of autism, autoimmune diseases, immune dysregulation and related health problems of our children. A review of the articles will result in a self-evidence understanding of this issue in all of its complexity. This e-mail represents the closest version of the truth you will find. Please savor it. Please pass it along.

The following articles and research show the present status of this huge raging issue of autism and childhood autoimmune disease which is epidemic in our children.

The following information is provided to shed light on this issue. Note that the issue is discussed from both a conservative and liberal ideological position, depending on the article. This is information uncovered during research to help a number of autistic children who were damaged by the government's mandatory vaccine policy and the toxic (for them ) levels of mercury in those vaccines which the parents were forced to give to them. There are millions of kids affected by this issue.

From a website we viewed we became aware of your possible interest in autism and programs for autistic children and thought that a series of articles on autism and related special education issues might be particularly relevant to your group. So here is the research.

You may wish to share the research with others in your organization, with school districts which are suffering under the financial burdens of special education budgets or with parents who have had difficulty dealing with some of these issues. Please feel free to share this research with your colleagues.

But first, please review the following post from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and consider the following.

Virtually every thimerosal containing vaccine which was administered during the 1990's (a large number of the total mandatory vaccine protocol) contained levels of mercury which were hundreds of times more toxic than hazardous waste according to the EPA's own website.
http://www.epa.gov/epaoswer/hazwaste/mercury/regs.htm#hazwaste

This is a federal law that applies to all states"If mercury levels in a waste exceed the Toxicity Characteristic Leach Test (TCLP) level of 0.2 mg/L for mercury, then the waste is identified as a hazardous waste based on the toxicity characteristic". Note that most vaccines administered during the 1990's to infants (all children younger than two were subject to the mandatory vaccine schedule) contained levels of thimerosal consistent with those solutions being hundreds of times more toxic than hazardous waste according to the above set-forth EPA website.

Presently, most flu vaccine contains 50 mg/l of mercury from the thimerosal preservative. The concentration of mercury in the flu vaccine (containing thimerosal) presently being recommended to babies and pregnant women is 250 Times more toxic than the above level the EPA considers to be hazardous waste.

The biohazards of thimerosal are presented here:

http://www.nomercury.org/msds.htm

http://chemdat.merck.de/pls/pi03p/web2.search_page2?text=thimerosal&lang=4

Against the above backdrop, please consider the following articles:

The first is an article by United Press International entitled "A Big Secret".This article, which can be accessed from the url below (please copy and paste into webbrowser if the website won't open upon double clicking), points to the fact that of a rather large population of children (somewhere north of 35,000-probably greatly in excess of 100,000) all of whom were unvaccinated-

Not a single child was autistic, had asthma or diabetes!!!!

This was absolutely astounding, given that each of these conditions is an epidemic in our nation's children. In any event, further research into this issue eventually turned up information about the government's mandatory vaccine program, which all children must abide by in order to attend school. As we began to understand the possible damage to our nation's children which was apparently done by the mandatory vaccine policy, we were quite disturbed. Numerous parents contend that the mandated program forced them to damage their children. The following websites are a small portion of the articles we reviewed. They provide a current understanding of autism/autoimmune disease, which is epidemic in our children and the history and related issues of this apparent tremendous self-induced tragedy.

Yet the mainstream media and traditional medical institutions will not deal with this issue forthrightly. They appear to be covering up this historical scandal. Perhaps you will see why below.

Please review all of the articles listed below. In doing so, you may need to copy and paste the url's into the webbrowser. If they don't open upon clicking with your mouse, copy and paste the website address (url) into your webbrowser. You may find this information compelling.

Please review all articles. They will give you a fine historical understanding of this issue and how it has been handled since close to the autism epidemic inception. But there is a crisis of autoimmune diseases in our children and this should also be ackowledged.
After you go through the first article by UPI, review the other pieces, many of which you may already by aware. They place the autism/ADD/asthma/allergies/learning disabilities debate in historical context. They may also provide you with information about why many of your kids appear out of control, unruly and just plain difficult to deal with.

Note that these articles are not anti-vaccine and should be construed as such. Vaccine technology, when used appropriately, is life-saving technology. When abused by bureaucrats- well, you see the results. This information is an attempt to get the mandatory vaccine program, related agencies and our government officials to be more transparent about what they force on our citizens- and allow informed choice by parents. We must fix the vaccine program immediately.
We think this information is crucial. Please review it all. Thanks.

Remember- you may need to copy and paste url into webbrowser to view article.

Great info. Thanks. I will definately pass it along to everyone I know. It horrifies me that we were all lied to and this is what we injected into our children.

On June 20, 2005, Robert F Kennedy, Jr, a relatively new advocate calling for the removal of thimerosal from vaccines, appeared on the Don Imus Show on MSNBC, and warned the public that our government is allowing drug companies to ship thimerosal-containing vaccines for use on children in other countries.

"They're giving this now to kids all over the third world," Kennedy warned. "In China, autism was unknown five years ago," he said. "They started giving them American vaccines containing thimerosal and now they've got 1.8 million cases of autism," he added.

Autism is also exploding in Argentina, India, and Nigeria, Kennedy said.

"What's going to happen when our enemies around the world realize that the United State's most heralded foreign policy which is vaccinating the children of the world is poisoning the brains of developing third world children?" he warmed.

Still ploughing through all the links.
Also printing several off, to hand out.
Maybe I should drop a few off at my son's Doctor's surgery!

But they took a the vast majority of the amount of thimerosal in children's vaccines out and the numbers aren't dropping. I'm soooo confused.

Anon; The little bit they were using in 1931 caused autism. When it's all gone, we'll see what happens.

Hi Bloggers,

I have been trying to search everywhere to find info on mercury. Does anyone know if there was mercury in the shots from 2001 until now? I can find any info on those dates :( Any help would be greatly appreciated:)

So Kevin Champagne has nearly cured his son with something that is no more chelating that Jergen's hand lotion is? Are you going to tell Dr. Quig that he's lying when he tells all the DAN parents that TD DMPS never was "transdermal" and so was never chelating anyone? That would include all the GR families who were recommended to buy TD DMPS because chief angel Handley bought it and his son had so many "gains" on it?

How about suing Buttar for fraud? Shouldn't there be a class action suit against him going now?

I expect you will delete this one, too, John. Can't let out your dirty secrets, can you?

Fore Sam said...

Anon; Who's Quig?

Anonymous said...

Quig is the science expert at Doctors Data Inc. labs. He spoke at the recent Fall DAN conference in Seattle where he said that TD DMPS is not TD and that parents should think about other methods.

I’ve been reading Joseph’s recent post about Lenny Schafer.
I think Mr Schafer has hit the nail right on the head by saying;

"The neuro diversity campaigners continue their efforts to redefine autism as not a disability, but a personality trait we just all need to learn to live with. This is nothing more than the crass exploitation of the disabled and needs to be called out as such. They are trying to steal "autism" from the disabled."

As part of Kathleen Seidel’s "Lenny Schafer’s Inquisition", in her letter to him in Jan 05, she asks;

"You have stated that, "The 'Don't-Cure-Our-Autism' advocates argue that if a child is having 'hellacious' behavior, it is only because parents and the rest of the world have failed correctly to respond to the child's autism." Now who said this, and where?"

Another gem from Lenny Schafer!
And another from K Seidel!

"Now who said this, and where?"

From this blog alone, you could 'harvest' hundreds of quotes supporting Lenny Schafer on that one!

How much money do you make marketing chelation?

If "you" are Rashid Buttar you make big bucks marketing chelation, you market it for cancer and autism and probably everything else.

Jonsmum said...

Thankyou so much to whoever posted this e-mail, and thanks to John for 'passing it on'.
Listening to the Charlottesville Podcast interviews has really 'brought home' the fact that thimerosal in vaccines causes autism.
Millions of children have been knowingly poisoned by corrupt drug companies, aided and abetted by the CDC and FDA for what?

Anyone talking about doctors making money off chelation can F*CK OFF.

Fore Sam said...

Jonsmum; It's just anonymous wackos trying to obfuscate the truth. They know it doesn't cost us anything to cure our kids with Andy Cutler's advice so they pick on doctors who are just trying to make a living. It sounds like one of Aqualung's pathetic statements.

How do the 'officiacls' from the CDC and the FDA sleep at nights?

There's a good reason I'm up so late, while I'm shattered and desperate to go to bed.
It's 3AM. My little boy is still awake and raring to go, running around the living room, shouting.
I cannot physically keep him in bed.
The last thing I want to see is stupid comments like;

"How much money do you make marketing chelation?"

If that was you David, an educated man like yourself should be able to 'guesstimate', and weigh up the difference between any monetary gain from curing autism with chelation, and the billions of $/£ raked in by the drug companies by causing autism, and then capitalizing on their crime by making billions from drug treatments for their victims.

Now that's what I call "big bucks" and smart "marketing".

I'm going to try to go to bed again...

Jonsmum,

Quit whining you pathetic excuse for a mother. If it is so difficult to raise a child for you than use autism as an excuse to institutionalize him and dope him up on medication. Save yourself the hassle. But save us the hassle of hearing how tormented your life is because you have an autistic kid.

Kid running around at bedtime? Hmmmm... You are describing something all children do. You don't know the first thing about raising children, autistic or otherwise.

That was also not me. My ex and I went through this issue with our daughter, and it is no fun...

Saw your apology, by the way. Thank you. One reason why I've been silent for a while is that I've been dealing with a number of intrusion attacks on my computer, and also inquiring of people I know (who have been using my computer a wee while) to see if they know anything of the comment. At this point a mystery, and may well have been part of an attack (the file server.exe has been cropping up a hell of a lot on my machine, so I asked a software ebgineer pal of mine to help out with some protection stuff for my computer).

This will be my only comment here, and it stands as a courtesy to you, Sue, for having apologised; and I offer my apologies if either a friend of mine or an intruder has managed to use my computer as a proxy to post something offensive... I don't recognise the comment, but there is some responsibility on my part if my computer has been implicated in its posting because of my not having been as 'net-secure' as I should otherwise have been (either from someone I know on my computer or as someone using my computer as a proxy server).

As for your issue about your lad being hyper at night ... I hate to agree with John on this, but melotonin may be useful... we used to get night-milk (yöllä-lypsytty maito) for my daughter, until it became clear that one of her issues is lactose intolerance (as it is with many Finnish people). There was a study on melotonin done in Finland and it was at the very least quite promising. Best of luck with it.

For Susan Lord, the abstract from the study.

"Effectiveness of Melatonin in the Treatment of Sleep Disturbances in Children with Asperger Disorder
Mar 2003, Vol. 13, No. 1 : 83 -95

E. Juulia Paavonen, MD
Department of Child Psychiatry, University of Helsinki, Helsinki, Finland.
Taina Nieminen-von Wendt, MD, Raija Vanhala, MD, PhD, Eeva T. Aronen, MD, PhD, Lennart von Wendt, MD, PhD

Sleep disturbances are common in patients with Asperger disorder. Although these sleep problems are often persistent and may significantly impair the child's daytime well-being, no treatment studies have been reported. In this open clinical trial, the effectiveness of melatonin was studied in a sample of 15 children with Asperger disorder (13 boys, 2 girls) aged 6–17 years using several questionnaires and actigraph measurements. They included assessments of sleep quality, tiredness, and behavior. Melatonin (3 mg/day) was used for 14 days. All the measurements were made three times: before the treatment period, during the treatment (days 12–14), and 3 weeks after the discontinuation of the treatment. The sleep patterns of all the children improved, and half of them displayed excellent responses to melatonin. In particular, actigraphically measured sleep latency decreased from 40.02 ± 24.09 minutes to 21.82 ± 9.64 minutes (p = 0.002), whereas sleep duration remained steady at 477.40 ± 55.56 minutes and 480.48 ± 50.71 minutes. Despite the short duration of the treatment, behavioral measures also displayed a significant improvement, and most of the effect disappeared after the discontinuation of the melatonin (p = 0.001). In conclusion, melatonin may provide an interesting new and well-tolerated treatment option for children with Asperger disorder suffering from chronic insomnia. However, these results must be confirmed in a controlled study."

Have I actually called you a liar on this? Prove it. Not somethign you're good at.

"Why did your parents give up on you as a hopeless case instead of curing you?"

Actually, giving up was the last thing they would have done. They didn't give up on me, John. The school did. But not them. They didn't do everything right, but they did far more than school did to secure me a future.

So much for your 'expert' knowledge, John. But then, an imbecile like you thinks all the time that he knows more than his education allows. Me, on the other hand... I'm a highly trained professional. You will never equate to that as long as your arse looks south.

Autism Society of America says "The committee acknowledged, however, that "they could not rule out" the possibility that the MMR vaccine could contribute to ASD in a small number of children. While other researchers agree the data does not support a link between the MMR and autism, more research is clearly needed."

National Institute of Health says " Perinatal complications are thought more likely to be consequences rather than causes of a child’s ASD, and no specific prenatal exposures have been established as contributory. A small number of cases have been reported in which viral infection may have played a role. We conclude from our review that the current epidemiological evidence does not support the proposed link of MMR to ASDs. Our conclusions are consistent with the previous MRC Reviews and with the findings of other expert groups that have reviewed this question."

CDC says "Critics have claimed that Wakefield's study contains many flaws, including lack of recognition of sample bias. In October, 2005, a study by the respected Cochrane Library said, on the basis of 31 pieces of research into the possible side effects of MMR, that it found no association between MMR and autism. Several scientific groups, including the National Academy of Sciences, have also conducted investigations and concluded that the evidence does not support a link."

Simply put, evidence doesn't support the vaccine theory at this time. I think no stone should be left unturned, but I am not going to testify something as fact when it has been repeatly disproven by the scientific community.

All the best...

No it didn't. You have no proof at all.
Those idiotic words of yours called me a liar. You've never met my son, have no idea what he was like prior to chelation or what he's like now. All you have to go on is your moronic assertion that all autistic children improve. You state this in spite of the fact that I've told you many times that my son did not improve at all for 7 long years.
You are far from a highly trained professional. You're a dumb bastard who took forty years to get his degree and you have not learned anything outside of academia. You deny the fact that mercury caused this epidemic which can only be claimed by uneducated twerps and the liars who caused the epidemic.
I detailed the accomplishments my son has made with chelation (after zero progression) and you claim I'm wrong. Is everybody else wrong who has cured their child, bonehead? Should all parents listen to a filthy, obese student who is too stupid to chelate his daughter and give her a chance to go through life without a disability? Maybe you'll embrace Kevin Leitch's deranged philosophy of stating that it's OK with him if his daughter cures herself when she grows up. The two of you, I'm sure, would want to embrace rattlesnake poisoning and do nothing to solve it while hoping the kid will progress or asked to be cured if they learn to speak. You're too absurd for words. You are abusing autistic children by spouting your lies and pretending that your alleged autism is anything like what mercury poisoned children are suffering with. You and the rest of the neurodiverse idiots are hazardous to your children's future.
BTW chubs, I don't hate you. I hope you'll be educable someday so you can cure yourself and your daughter. In the meantime, I'll just expose your ridiculous assertions about autism for the nonsense that they are.

You're talking about MMR while I've been talking about mercury. If you want to criticize me, it would be more useful if you criticized my position on mercury. The fact that children are being cured by removing the mercury from their brains proves that it caused the epidemic.
There is all sorts of peopaganda that tries to deny this but the fact is that children are recovering. Adults just like you are also recovering. My stance only tries to help parents see the truth through the mirage of garbage like Neurodiversity. You also have to understand that our government, and the companies who have been poisoning us since 1931 will not tell you the truth about their mistakes. Thimerosal Causes Autism: Chelation Therapy Can Cure It

A few physicians have been promoting the idea that the mercury content of vaccines is a cause of autism and that autistic children should undergo chelation therapy to be detoxified. Lawsuits have been filed, and several attorneys are advertising on the Internet for more clients. The situation arose because until recently, certain vaccines contained thimerosal, a mercury-containing preservative that is no longer used in most of the vaccines now recommended for children. However, there are several reasons why concerns about the use of thimerosal in vaccines are misguided:

* The amounts of mercury involved were very small.
* No link between mercury and autism has been proven. If the thimerosal in vaccines caused mercury poisoning, the symptoms would affect all parts of the nervous system.
* Autistic children do not have the movement disorders and peripheral nerve damage that that are characteristic of mercury poisoning.
* There is no scientific evidence or logical reason to believe that autism has a toxic cause.

Thimerosal has been used as preservative in biologics and vaccines since the 1930s because it prevents bacterial and fungal contamination, particularly in multidose containers. In 1999, an FDA review noted that with the increased number of vaccines then recommended for infants, the total amount of mercury in vaccines containing thimerosal might exceed the levels recommended by other federal agencies [1]. The mercury limits imposed by these agencies have a wide margin of safety; and there was no information suggesting that any infant had been harmed. Nevertheless, to be super-cautious, the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) asked doctors to minimize exposure to thimerosal-containing vaccines and manufacturers to remove thimerosal from vaccines as soon as possible [2].

By mid-2000, thimerosal-free vaccines against hepatitis B and bacterial meningitis were widely available. A combination vaccine for diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus is also available today without thimerosal. Measles/mumps/rubella (MMR), chickenpox, inactivated polio, and pneumococcal conjugate vaccines have never contained thimerosal. Thus, except for some influenza vaccine, none of the vaccines now used to protect preschool children against 12 infectious diseases contain thimerosal as a preservative. Certain flu vaccines and tetanus-diphtheria vaccines (Td) given to children age 7 and older still contain thimerosal as a preservative.

Before the recent reductions, the maximum cumulative exposure to mercury via routine childhood vaccinations during the first six months of life could have been 187.5 micrograms (which averages to about 1 microgram per day. With the newly formulated vaccines, the maximum cumulative exposure during the first six months of life should now total no more than 3 micrograms of mercury [3]. No studies have shown that either the old or the new amounts have any toxic effect.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has compared the incidence of autism with the amount of thimerosal received from vaccines. Preliminary results indicated no change in autism rates relative to the amount of thimerosal a child received during the first six months of life (from 0 micrograms to greater than 160 micrograms). A weak association was found with thimerosal intake and certain neurodevelopmental disorders (such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) in one study, but was not found in a subsequent study [4]. Additional studies are planned, but it is unlikely that any significant association will be found.

An Institute of Medicine (IOM) committee, which issued a comprehensive report in October 2001, found no proof of a link between thimerosal-containing vaccines and autism, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, speech or language delays, or other neurodevelopmental disorders [5].

A study published in 2002 of infants who were 6 months of age or younger compared the levels of mercury in the blood, hair, urine, and stool of 40 who received vaccines containing thimerosal and 20 who received vaccines without thimerosal. The study found:

* Mercury levels in blood and urine were low in all infants studied and in many cases too small to measure. There was no observed dose-dependent relationship between the level of thimerosal received through vaccination and the level of mercury in the body.
* Mercury levels in blood did not exceed, at any time, the blood levels that correspond to Environmental Protection Agency guidelines for exposure.
* Mercury levels in the stool of infants receiving vaccines containing thimerosal were relatively high compared to mercury levels in the stool of infants who were not exposed to thimerosal, providing evidence that mercury from thimerosal is eliminated in the stool of infants.

The researchers concluded that, "Administration of vaccines containing thiomersal does not seem to raise blood concentrations of mercury above safe values in infants." [6].

The use of chelation therapy to treat autistic children is completely bogus. Three successful lawsuits have been filed by parents who believe they were victimized in this way [7].

PORTERSVILLE, Pa. Aug 25 (AP)- An autistic boy died after receiving an unproven treatment that some people believe may cure the neurological and developmental disorder, officials said.

Abubakar Tariq Nadama, 5, had received his third treatment of chelation therapy at a doctor’s office Tuesday before going into cardiac arrest, said Deputy Coroner Larry Barr.

The staff at Dr. Roy E. Kerry’s office performed CPR on the boy, but he was later pronounced dead in a hospital, Barr said. More tests would be needed to determine the cause of death, he said.

State police also were investigating.

A message left for the doctor at the Advanced Integrative Medicine Center in Portersville was not immediately returned Thursday morning.

Some people believe that autism can be linked to a mercury-containing preservative once commonly used in childhood vaccines, and these people sometimes advocate chelation therapy, which causes heavy metals to leave the body through urine.

The Food and Drug Administration has approved chelation only for acute heavy-metal poisoning that is confirmed by blood tests. Critics call the treatment risky and say there isn’t enough evidence to link autism to mercury or lead toxicity.

The boy’s mother, Marwa Nadama, said she didn’t blame the therapy, but was waiting for test results.

Howard Carpenter, the executive director of the Advisory Board on Autism-Related Disorders, said it was just a matter of time before there would be a death linked to the therapy.

“Parents of children with autism are desperate. Some are willing to try anything,” Carpenter said.

Anonymous; You speak like a certain Diva. Why would I stay away from ND blogs that do nothing but blatantly lie about autism? These liars need to be put in their place. You call it bullying; I call it exposing lies.
You don't win anything. My son wins because I love him enough to help him. Your kids lose because you're all too dumb to help them.
If you smarten up and help your kids, I win again. We all win because our taxes will decrease since no more special education will be needed and the kids will be able to care for themselves as adults. The only possible loser here is your moronic ego.

Buddha;
You brought up lots of garbage here. You missed the part about the CDC telling the IOM to find no correlation, though. You also missed the fact that Dr Kerry used the wrong kind of EDTA by mistake. You missed the fact that EDTA does not chelate mercury so Kerry didn't know what he was doing to begin with.
You missed the fact that mercury goes out of blood rapidly but can deposit itself in the brain, kidneys, liver and intestines which can not be detectedthrough a blood test. How about the fact that babies are not born with a Blood Brain Barrier to help protect then from mercury? Did you figure that into your one microgram per day equation? That flawed logic fits in with the CDC telling us that 36,000 people a year die from flu but, they don't tell you that they include all those who died in the 1918 pandemic to skew the numbers so their friends in Pharma can sell more flu shots.
In short Buddha, you threw a bunch of half-truths up here. I don't have time to point out each of them. You're either too new to this to understand or a typical neurodiverse psychopath who wants to obfuscate the truth. Which is it? I don't mind educating you but I'm getting sick of liars.

No it didn't. You have no proof at all.
Those idiotic words of yours called me a liar."

Nope. I said (and you can see it there) that you have no proof that chelation helped. That's not me calling you a liar... that's me saying you have no proof. Totally different thing, as any intellectually-able person could tell you. The idiotic words are yours.

ForeSkin: "You're a dumb bastard who took forty years to get his degree and you have not learned anything outside of academia."

More idiotic words... I started at university in 1990, I went to do other things (like living with someone, and going to work, and so on) and found time to study when I could afford to do so. It did not take me 40 years to get my MEd... very few people 'go up' as four-year olds! Shitting Jesus, John... you couldn't figure that out?!

ForeSkin: "All you have to go on is your moronic assertion that all autistic children improve."

Documented by Kanner, to name but one observer of this.

ForeSkin: "You are far from a highly trained professional."

Actually, wrong... I am a highly-trained professional.

ForeSkin: "Should all parents listen to a filthy, obese student who is too stupid to chelate his daughter and give her a chance to go through life without a disability?"

Again... personal insult because you can't think of anything factual to go by. What a pathetic loser, John. Poor Sam.

ForeSkin: "BTW chubs, I don't hate you."

Of course you do, ääliökääpi... Why else would you carry on insulting me? You would hardly do that to someone you liked... well, let me rephrase that... intelligent people would hardly do that to folk they liked.

ForeSKin: "I detailed the accomplishments my son has made with chelation (after zero progression) and you claim I'm wrong."

You cannot demonstrate zero progression... you took no measures; you cannot claim the effects of chelation... you took no measures; you can't actually exclude natural development... you took no measures to avoid confounds... What's you're problem, John? Do you not like being told that you have not one iota of proof of what you say? Tough... You make the claim, you go on and prove it. I even gave you a chance but you aggressively declined it... as I'd imagine would a person who knew that he could not prove his claim.

ForeSkin: "You state this in spite of the fact that I've told you many times that my son did not improve at all for 7 long years."

Were you really looking? Research exists to suggest that parents tend not to notice things like developmental gains with anything at first, since they don't actually know what to look for. Can you seriously demonstrate that you didn't come under that category?

ForeSkin: "You're too absurd for words."

That honour, John, belongs to you.

This is why:

ForeSkin: "You deny the fact that mercury caused this epidemic which can only be claimed by uneducated twerps and the liars who caused the epidemic."

What epidemic? What mercury link? Who lied? You have made these baseless statements like a Pavlovian dog ever since it was my misfortune to encounter you on AutAdvo.

ForeSkin: "The two of you, I'm sure, would want to embrace rattlesnake poisoning and do nothing to solve it while hoping the kid will progress or asked to be cured if they learn to speak."

We have adders in Finland, and every house carries an Adder Pack (this is a packet with a very strong anti-histaminic medication in it to reduce problems from such a bite... since when was autism the same as a snakebite, you dopey sod?!

ForeSkin: "I hope you'll be educable someday so you can cure yourself and your daughter."

Me, my ex-wife and my daughter's step-dad all actively and collectively support my daughter's development without putting her through un-necessary risks or quack treatments, John. Between us, we have 8 university degrees and/or (recognisable)equivalents - all in useful subjects (education, psychology, physics, mathematics, English, philosophy, biology, languages, etc)... my daughter has nothing to worry about.

Can you say there's absolutely no long-term adverse effects for Sam with what you do?

Off to work.

Anon; I didn't delete anything. Feel free to post anything you want as it only makes Neurodiversity look even more sadistic towards children.
You're trying very hard to put words in my mouth by claiming I called anyone the dregs of society. However, that is a good way to describe Neurodiversity whose sole mission seems to be lying about autism so parents don't learn how to help their kids.
If autistic adults or children were not suffering from a horrible condition, there would have been no need to describe that horrible condition with a label. I didn't invent the label. You should complain to Leo Kanner and Hans Asperger. I'm just one of the parents who's learned how to help my kid. Autistic adults can also help themselves or remain disabled. That's up to them. When allegedly autistic adults butt in and claim we are killing the autistic child by curing them, they are eligible for any derogatory language that anyone feels like giving them. That notion is utterly insane.

Your idiocy is priceless. Your only argument here is to call me a liar without ever having observed my child. Did you learn to say that in school, genius?

John;
Thanks for the advice about the "melatonin",(same to David A, apology appreciated).
I didn't say in my comment, my son had 6mg of melatonin at 9pm.
He has classic autism and ADHD. He has never had a bedroom door since he was able to climb out of his cot/crib. We had to install a lockable stairgate instead, where he couldn't get out of his bedroom but could see out and not feel 'shut in'.
Before he discovered he was big enough to climb over the stairgate, (which was a few weeks ago), melatonin worked to a certain extent. Half the time he would be awake in his room, literally bouncing off the walls and his bed until the early hours.
I felt heart sorry for him being by himself like this for hours and hours, so a lot of the time I kept him up late, downstairs so that he spent as little time as possible cooped up in his bedroom alone, and didn't keep his dad and brother awake.

anonymous;
This is how loving responsible parents feel about their children, and deal with the challenges of autism. But you, being a psychopath wouldn't know anything about love, would you?
You are missing out on so much. I would pity you if you weren't so vile.

John;
Thanks for the comment about the half door. We anticipated the 'half door' day would come, and it's here.
It's good moral support to know other people have the same ideas and practical solutions.
Of course, you then have to think about what to do when your child is big enough to climb over the half door...

Actually it is. Burning in hell is a very Christian concept.

As for John Best he can neither be affected by insult or religious stupidity. He just goes on insulting the "neurodiverse". By the way, "neurodiverse" here translates as autistic parents who are raising their autistic children much better than the people on this blog. That is something which gets up all your bums, isn't it? Capable autistic people raising capable autistic children while you have "problems", and are making those problems worse and causing your children to suffer through bad treatmend while you hold onto the illusion of normal.

Well people John Best himself is hardly normmal. He is obsessive and hyperactive.

And one more thing before best starts with the insults (which I am perfectly fine with because I came on here and started it, my entertainment):

I am happy and healthy with a fulfilled life.

What we "mercury parents" do on a daily basis is much harder than what you neurodiverse accepting parents do. Not only are we raising our children but we're also treating our chlidren for the illness that people like you deny that they have.

The way I see it ...we're the go getters and you are the good enoughers!

Er... Kevin we are not denying autism. The children and the adults have AUTISM, WHICH IS VERY LIKELY A GENETIC CONDITION, not mercury poisoning. This means that YOU are very likely responsible for your childs autism. The sad fact is an autistic child can develop as an autistic child. You are denying them that development. And if your own children can survive your mistaken, though well meaning perhaps, interventions, they will grow up still autistic, with more problems, and hating themselves and you.

That will be your fault, too. And if you are a believing Christian then I think that is enough to burn in hell for, or at least spend a fair stint in purgatory.

You have to back this up with something more than, 'well you said this therefore you meant that, which means that you think this', etc.

"Learn to love not hate and teach your children to love themselves".

Do you go through life making presumptions like this about everything?
You must be going through, or in for a rough ride if this is your warped way of thinking.
Every argument and statement you make is based purely on your own presumptions of other and has nothing to do with having any real knowledge or facts.

By the way, YOU do not sound ten. You sound an awful lot like John Best - who is an obsessive, hyperactive hate monger in my opinion. I am avoiding insult here. John Best is admittedly obsessive about this blog and he is certainly hyperactive as he spends so much time on it.

However with his appointment in New Hamshire - if he gets it - he will be very busy and not have much time for these blogs, I suppose. I feel sorry for New Hamshire but fortunately I do not live there. If New Hamshire has any sense and he doesn't get the position he will have a bigger axe to grind with autistic people. But the point is: a person like him with his professed dislike of autistic people should not have a position that has anything to do with autism. He is biased and dangerous.

As for my final insult and burning in Hell I suppose people's burnings in hell is their own business so I will not mention it. (That was humour, in case you missed it.)

Anymouse;
Let's dispel some of your insane ranting here. 1. Neurodiversity is not made up of autistic adults. It is mostly moronic normal parents who spout idiotic propaganda. Some don't even have kids. Neurodiversity doesn't even have anything to do with autistic people. It exists solely to stupidly try to discredit esteemed scientists who help sane parents cure their children. 2. The few people with Asperger's who subscribe to Neurodiversity are being duped by the leaders of it to fall in with their cultlike idiocy that claims curing autism is killing the autistic person. These are adults with Asperger's who can function in our society with one exception (Amanda Baggs) and they have absolutely nothing in common with actual autistic children who can not function.
3. This blog is about hating autism. It is not about hating any autistic people. It is about the love of sane parents for their children who would do anything to cure them.
4. This blog dispels all sorts of nonsensical lies that are put forth by Neurodiverse sadists whose philosophy is hazardous to children. As thousands of us cure our kids (or see marked improvement) Neurodiverse scumbags keep calling us liars and claim that chelation is not the reason for the kids improvement. This is pure idiocy and any of those scumbags who write this nonsense will be identified as such.
5. I continually offer help to the poor deluded Asperger's adults from Neurodiversity who are being used by the evil leaders to try to tell the world that a cure is not wanted. Out of the millions of people with Asperger's, these handful of easily led poor souls are defending the drug companies who caused their disability. That is very sad. These people really do need deprogramming so they can inderstand that their condition m,ay be ameliorated with the new biomedical interventions we have learned in the last seven years.

Neurodiversity may talk about respect and places in society which is what every parent wants for their kid. Neurodiversity loses any respect they may deserve when they lie about esteemed scientists who help cure children.
Neurodiversity loses any credibility it may have had when it makes the incredibly absurd statement that curing autism is killing the autistic person. It is the same as saying that allowing babies to grow up is killing the baby.
Calling Andrews a skilled professional voids your credibility since we all know he is still a student who has not received his degree. We've also seen his video and no professional looks like that.
Leitch, Seidel, Scumbag Klar, Soapbox Mom, Mom 26 kids, Jonathan, Jannalou, NM, DOC, Stanton, etc. are not autistic. Some claim Asperger's. Joseph claims autism but I don't believe he's married or has a kid as he claims. Andrews claims autism but It's probably MR and Asperger's. Baggs is the only one who's credible. However, not looking into treatment that may help her talk and become toilet trained is not exactly sane. No autistic child who has been cured has asked to revert to being autistic. Baggs would feel the same way if she were cured. These cured children nullify that ridiculous argument.
Neurodiversity earned the title of Sadists by virtue of the fact that anyone who listens to them will not learn how to help suffering children. There are lots of uneducated people who may believe your sophistocated lies. Any educated person sees your philosophy for the utter hogwash that it is.

I have seen children that have improved after bio-medical interventions, however, since other interventions as ST and OT were also being used, I can't conclusively point at the bio-medical intervention as the main reason that the improvement was demonstrated. I have also seen children without bio-medical treatment who use ST, OT and other educational approaches improve drastically as well.
I have my reasons to believe that there is some factual basis to a mercury link and autism. However, I can not conclusively believe that one approach over the other is better. As I have spoken on dealing with autism from a parent's perspective, I have always made the point that there is not a "single" approach that works with all children. I encourage parents to research and make the best decision possible for their child. I always encourage them to be willing to change strategies if the current one is not working.
I find the bickering on these sites to be overwhelming. There is so much that we parents can learn from each other if we are willing to agree to disagree and show each other the courtesy we would want our children to receive from society.
There have been several references to Christ and Biblical passages. Let me refer to one now. "Every man is right in his own eyes." I can't change your view on the world nor can you change mine, however, I can respect you as an individual and respect your right to your ideas. This is hopefully a philosophy that we are trying to instill within our children regardless of being NT parents or bio-medical parents (forgive me if I got the terms wrong, I am learning). Today, whatever your choice in proceeding with your children, may God Bless you and lead you in the path that you should follow. Also, may we learn that acceptance of others is no less than practicing what we want for our children in the realm of society.

David Andrews. Is "mouse" using you're computer as a "proxy server"?

Mouse, Amanda can hardly be called smart for going through life with a disability when she might be cured. That's not evidence of sanity.

Fore Sam said...

Anon; I find no reason to show the slightest courtesy to anyone from Neurodiversity. They crossed a line by telling us we are wrong for trying to cure our kids. They are also insane for taking this position.
No sane parent wants children to suffer but that is what Neurodiversity advocates. They are just trying to obfuscate the whole issue to make autism look like it's no big deal. They are the scum of the earth.

No.

I installed some security stuff and, to my knowledge, nobody is using my computer as a proxy at this point.

I just want to point out that Andrews is illegally using MEd after his name. He is still a pending student waiting for a degree. The University could wise up to what a wacko he is and refuse to give it to him.

"I also said developmental disability and autism were two different things"

Autism on it's own, when it is not part of a genetic condition such as fragile x syndrome, is classed by the medical profession as a "developmental disability" in the UK, (regardless of what we think caused this disability).
David will confirm this for you.

Very interesting, Susan. But I wasn't talking to you. I was speaking to John Best about mental retardation. John Best lives in New Hamshire.

The point is - if you weren't paying attention, which you weren't - is that mental retardation and autism are not the same thing. John Best should know this, as he is not autistic.

John, David Andrews DOES have his degree. Your inability to recognize this shows your lack of self esteem.

John, Amanda IS intelligent. Your inability to recognize this again shows your lack of self esteem.

John, you are trying to prove you are better than autistic people. That is pathetic. That you are not and don't realize it is hilarious.

Anonymous said...

John best said in reference to autistic adults: "They are just trying to obfuscate the whole issue to make autism look like it's no big deal. They are the scum of the earth."

Well, John. If the choice is between "no big deal" and "scum of the earth" I would choose "No big deal".

But the point is that society and service providers turn autistic people into third class citizens and make it difficult to recieve the assitance they need or the human respect they are entitled to. There are some severely disabled autistic people and then there are some very capable autistic people. Your attitude would lump them all into "disabled" which is totally unfair to many autistic people and means that many will have a very hard time getting the appropriate services they require. Plus, you say ALL autistic people have mercury poisoning. Well, they don't. People with mercury poisoning have mercury poisoning. Saying someone has mercury poisoning and trying to chelate them when they have autism is criminal.

You, Mr. Best, represent through your attitudes, all that is wrong with the system. You, Mr. Best, not autistic people are - in your own words. I did not invent this language - a whacko and the scum of the earth.

These little tirades that people have when they come to your site and return your insults have little to do with the mercury debate. It has to do with your own wretched nature. You, however, know this. The reason you insult people is to stimulate a fictitious debate about chelation to give some validity to the snakeoil which you promote.

Well, Best, it has all been a hoot, but now I must take my leave.

You see, this blog "Hating Autism" has become an unhealthy catharsis for me, a way for me to vent and rage against the evil and stupidity of the world.

But, you see, my life would be as wonderful and/or as miserable whether I come here or not. The only thing this does for me, really, is waste my time and allow myself to get to know, and become known to(and be abused by), a bunch of people I would never want to associate with in real life.

So this has been some sort of warped and twisted social experiment by me.

I wish you all the best and/or the worst, as appropriate, and say goodbye.

Actually, this is true. At least, when the medical practitioners can be arsed to recognise it. Problem is that autism is a collection of specific developmental difficulties (very often including learning difficulties) and this sometimes gets lumped in with global learning difficulties that result in mental handicap (as comes under the remit of the Community & Priority Services Trusts' Learning Disabilities sections). Easy to see (from my experience as a professional) how people can think of mental retardation/handicap or learning disabilities as being developmental in nature (which they are) and how this can be confused with the specific developmental and learning difficulties that occur in the cases of autistic people (one Trust I worked with in the north of England, when I was working in medical physics and clinical engineering, really had no clue where to put autism... consequence was that it got put nowhere, and autistic children/adolescents/adults were left without appropriate services).

Another issue that can lead to this confusion is country-specific terminologies... for example, in Finland the term 'kehitysvammainen' refers to (and I hate the translated term) 'developmentally damaged/injured' people who would in the UK be referred to as 'Learning Disabled' (but in the US; I believe the terminology is yet again different... Mental Retardation; Canada, for all I know, may have a different term entirely). Yet, in the Finnish 'kehitysvammaisten palvelut' (developmentally damaged/injured people's services), autism doesn't actually figure at all. The reason for this is probably tied to the notion in Finland that 'kehitysvammaisuus' (developmentally 'damaged/injured-ness') is constitutional/organic in origin, whereas autism is what happens if your mother's name is Raisa Elina Frigerator :/

Dunno if this helps, Sue, but this could account for some of the confusion in terminologies.

JBJr's comment about my qualifications has been noted, but I just can't be arsed to respond to him: you may like him but I have to tell you, he isn't someone for whom I could care less.

I have far more important stuff to deal with in my life just now than an idiotic old man in New Hampshire who gets his jollies from aggressively insulting people.

Being originally from the UK and having been trained in the UK, I can see where Susan is coming from on what she said... it's explained above, in as much as that is my understanding of the confusion over terms.

Sorry but, no matter how many times Andrews lies about it, he is still a pending student until the diploma has been awarded.
Amanda has not demonstrated intelligence by refusing to investigate methods that might allow her to speak and be toilet trained.
All I'm trying to point out here is that autism is curable. Those of you who argue against this are hazardous to all people on the autistic spectrum. Arguing against helping disabled people is sadistic.

"Your attitude would lump them all into "disabled" which is totally unfair to many autistic people and means that many will have a very hard time getting the appropriate services they require."
Did you read what you wrote here?! Why would anyone need special services if they were not disabled? No, it is Neurodiversity who is trying to lump everyone on the spectrum together to deny help to those who can't function at all. You sadists are attempting to sway public opinion so that the general public will consider autism as no big deal. They read what you have to say and see that you can read and write intelligently (exception Andrews) and think all autistic people can do this. The fact of the matter is that many autistic children will never be able to read, write, talk or take care of themselves because they were injected with a lot more mercury than you were and it is rendered them helpless. You're obvious stabs at obfuscating this fact earns you the label of sadists.

Plus, you say ALL autistic people have mercury poisoning. Well, they don't. People with mercury poisoning have mercury poisoning. Saying someone has mercury poisoning and trying to chelate them when they have autism is criminal.
There are a few of you who have a strictly genetic disorder. The majority of autism is mercury poisoning.

"any mouse at all", as the "good Christian" he is, will no doubt assume I will "burn in hell", but yes I do like and respect John.
Not just because he believes as I and thousands of others do, that thimerosal has caused the 'autism epidemic' and poisoned a generation of children, but because despite all the propaganda against him, all the abuse and offensive personal comments, he has the guts and perseverance to stick to his convictions.

I totally agree with his opinion that;

"Neurodiversity may talk about respect and places in society which is what every parent wants for their kid. Neurodiversity loses any respect they may deserve when they lie about esteemed scientists who help cure children.
Neurodiversity loses any credibility it may have had when it makes the incredibly absurd statement that curing autism is killing the autistic person. It is the same as saying that allowing babies to grow up is killing the baby".

He leaves himself wide open to insults from anonymous cowards, with crap like this;

"From some of the things you have said he does sound developmentally disabled (the kind word for retarded). And I am sorry your son, but retardation is a different problem from autism. But then again, you sound somewhat retarded to me, too, so you should be able to relate".

Has anyone criticizing JB actually looked at any of the links provided on this original post?

David. Have you listened to the Charlottesville podcast interviews?
You can't dismiss them. Listen to Bredon McBride, the product liability defence attorney who worked defending drug companies, until he had an autistic son and looked into the science and proof that thimerosal causes autism. He's involved with SafeMinds now!
This is what John is trying to get you to understand.
I am not talking about you behind your back. I am asking you listen to these people.
Surely you must concede there is some credibility in what they are saying.
I find it appropriate that in Finland, autism is classed as "developmentally damaged/injured". Not because of 'refrigerator mothers' but because of the millions of children who have been knowingly and criminally "damaged" by mercury in vaccines.

Jonsmum;
Thanks for your support.
The neurodiverse have to insult people who expose their idiocy because they can not defend it to educated people. That is how they suck in poor students like Andrews who doesn't have the brains to think for himself.

Mr Best, Hi, I'm a young girl with autism and maybe you can help me. My father won't try to cure me. I really can't stand being autistic and I wish he would help me be like other kids. Will you adopt me and get rid of my autism so I can be normal?

Anonymous said...

Mr Best, I'm a little boy with autism and my parents want to celebrate my autism but I am scared all the time and they don't take any notice when I scream and cry.
Will you adopt me as well?
Please.

Fore Sam said...

Children;
I think you should call the police and ask them to help you. They will know what to do about bad parents who won't help you. I could probably adopt a couple of kids but the police will have to help you get away from your parents first.
